My name is Peter Adams and I was born in 1978 at Kings College Hospital. I lived with my Mum and Daniel in Brixton for the first few years of my life, until my Mum and Dad split up and I went to live with dad and contact with Dan stopped.
I lived with my Dad and Nan so she played a very large part in my upbringing, and raised me once my Dad suddenly passed away when I was 11.
This is when I began to see Danny again but it was short lived, we saw each other for about 6 months but then not again until I was 16. When I saw him on Clapham Common with his mates at a Capital Radio Roadshow. He didn’t recognise me but I was sure it was him so sent my friend over to ask and it was him. It was and we have been inseparable since.
I have lived all over South East London and as a family we moved a lot so I have been to numerous schools growing up but ended my schooling at Woolwich Polytechnic School at 16.
I left and did B-Tech in Business Studies and worked in a newsagent and then got a job in a clothing shop.
I then went travelling for 2 1/2 years with my now wife. We travelled South East Asia and then lived and worked in Australia and New Zealand.
I tried my hand at plastering when we returned from travelling but manual labour just wasn’t for me 😂 That’s when I decided to do the knowledge and am still a black taxi driver to this day. A job I love and am very proud of.
Once I had finished studying to be a cab driver, I decided to take up Muay Thai and I have had a few professional fights, one of which was in Thailand where I broke my leg 🦵 This is where my love of martial arts has come from and whilst I don’t do the Muay Thai anymore, I am now a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
I went into travel again, only for a year this time and travelled most of Central & South America.
I am now married and have 2 beautiful boys who are in primary school.
